What did Hildegard of Bingen see—and how did she understand the order of creation?
Join us for an evening exploring the visions and cosmology of St Hildegard of Bingen, one of the most remarkable spiritual figures of the Middle Ages.
Through her visions, we will enter Hildegard’s symbolic universe: a world in which humanity, nature, the cosmos and the divine are intimately connected. Her images of light, creation, harmony and humanity’s place within the divine order continue to fascinate theologians, historians, artists and medical researchers today.
The evening will feature:
Dr Elide Ceragioli — Neuropsychiatrist
Gabriele Rondini — Editor and Publisher
Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing cold herbal tisane before the presentation.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A and an informal social gathering with the speakers, accompanied by additional drinks and finger food inspired by St Hildegard’s medicinal tradition.
The evening will conclude with a guided meditative session, offering a quiet space to reflect on the themes and images explored during the event.
The event is €25 per person — this goes towards our special guests' travel and accommodation, the venue, and food and drinks on the night. Reserve your place with a €10 refundable deposit. Any deposit or payment is fully refundable up to one week before the event.
